Q. What are check-in and check-out times? What about late check-ins?
A. Check-in time is 2:00 PM (and no later than 10:00 PM) and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you require a late check-in time, please contact the Front Desk by phone or via email and a customer service representative will be happy to assist you.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. By making a reservation with us, you are agreeing to the following cancellation policy: Guest rooms must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to your day of arrival, regardless of arrival time, or you may be charged a minimum 50% penalty (up to 100% of the total reservation cost on Friday/Saturday/Sunday, national holidays, and special event periods). Group reservations may require more than 24 hours notice of cancellation, depending on the quantity of rooms booked - please contact a sales manager for specific terms.
Same-day reservations must be cancelled by 4pm PST to avoid cancellation penalties. Rooms booked through an online travel portal (e.g. Booking.com, Priceline, etc) or travel agent may incur late cancellation penalties equal to 100% of the cost of the reservation. Reservations booked via a third-party (e.g. Priceline, Hotels.com, travel agent, etc) are not refundable in the event of early departure. Special event periods include events hosted at the Stanislaus County Fairground regardless of individual participation. Special discounted rates that are based on the length of stay may be adjusted in the event of an early departure. Penalties will be charged to the credit/debit card used to guarantee the reservation or to the original method of payment. Sunrise Inn is not responsible for any overdraft fees or transaction fees associated with penalty charges. Group reservations must follow the cancellation policy agreed upon during original booking .
Q. Do you allow pets/animals?
Sunrise Inn does not allow pets on the property with the exception of service dogs trained to address a specific disability. Sunrise Inn reserves the right to deny access to any dog that is disruptive to the property or poses a direct threat to the health and safety of others.
Q. What is your smoking policy?
A. Smoking is never permitted within the rooms, no exceptions. Smoking fees will be assessed (minimum $250 fee per violation) toward the original method of payment.
Q. Is there a security deposit due with reservation?
Yes, a refundable security deposit will be charged upon check-in (this also applies to reservations made through a third-party website or agent such as Booking.com or Hotels.com). Refunds are processed after check-out. Please note that if the security deposit is charged to a debit or bank card, it may take up to 30 days before your bank processes the refund. For this reason, it is recommended that the deposit be charged to a credit card. Group reservations may have a separate deposit policy; please refer to the group reservation agreement.
Q. Is there a refrigerator/microwave/coffeemaker in all rooms?
A. Yes! Every room at Sunrise Inn features a refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker for your convenience.
Q. Are there hairdryers in the rooms?
A. Yes, all rooms are equipped with hairdryers.
Q. How many beds are there per room? Do you have roll-away beds?
A. Sunrise Inn is unique in that we feature one queen-sized Posturepedic bed per room, thus maximizing the amount of space per person. In order to accommodate large parties, we offer rooms that connect to each other via an inner connecting door (each party of two can then utilize their own bathroom, television, telephone, refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker). As an extra bonus, connecting rooms feature a lower overall rate per room compared to reserving two separate, non-connecting rooms. We also have roll-aways available for a nominal fee on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please call us to reserve a roll-away bed.
Q. Can I get more information regarding the Triple Room?
A. The Triple Room is a Sunrise Inn exclusive feature in which three adjacent rooms are connected to each other via inner connecting doors. Think of it as a "mini-suite" with your own private, internal "hallway"! As with our standard connecting rooms, you will receive the extra bonus of a lower overall rate per room compared to reserving three separate rooms.
Q. Do you have Internet available within the rooms? Is there a cost to use the Internet?
A. Each room offers wired high-speed Internet for your convenience. There are no fees to access the Internet and you may log-on as many times as you wish during your stay at Sunrise Inn.
Q. What are the sizes of the beds?
A. All rooms feature queen-sized beds, which are larger than the standard double beds seen in most hotels.
Q. I'm trying to book a room online and I don't see the room I'm looking for.
A. Please feel free to call us toll-free at (877) 669-0626 if you are having any difficulties reserving a room online. If the room you are looking for is not displayed in the online reservation system, it may be currently booked out. A Sunrise Inn customer service representative will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have regarding the rooms.
Q. Can I make a reservation for a third-party?
